Hyojung Kang, PhD is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She received her Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research with a focus on systems healthcare engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Her research focuses on developing data-driven quantitative models for improvement of patient outcomes, system performance, and decision-making in healthcare systems and public health.
